1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time; your continued use of the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the changes.

2. License and Use

2.1 Grant of License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Mailbox AI for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

2.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App.
• Use the App to build a competing product or service.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or related infrastructure.
• Misuse Gmail or Google APIs in violation of their terms.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Access

The App requires authentication via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.2 Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, engage in illegal activities, or breach any third-party policy (including Google's terms of service).

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Lawful Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not use the App to:

• Send spam, phishing, or malicious emails.
• Distribute viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Violate intellectual-property or privacy rights.

4.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of emails and other data you create, send, or manage through the App.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

The Mailbox AI Development Team owns all rights, title, and interest in the App, including all software, designs, logos, and content (excluding your data).

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of your emails, drafts, and other content. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the App's functionality.

5.3 Third-Party Services

Your use of third-party services accessed through the App (including Google, OpenAI, and Firebase) is subject to those providers' respective terms.

6. AI Features

The App uses AI to provide features such as summaries and smart compose. We process the minimum necessary data securely. AI features are not used for automated decision-making with legal effects, and your data is not used to train AI models or for advertising.

7. Google API Services Compliance

The App's use of Google API Services complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to provide user-facing features and is not used for advertising or transferred improperly.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App without notice if you violate these Terms or use the App in a manner that could cause us legal liability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall be limited to the amounts (if any) paid by you to us in the past twelve months.

11. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services (Google, OpenAI, Firebase, and others). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.
